Replicate the iSCSI LUNs on the primary Synology to the secondary Synology using Synology's snapshot or replication technology.Configure Backup Copy Jobs to copy the desired backup jobs to this remote repository. Connect the Synology local to that server via iSCSI and configure the repository. Set up a backup repository server at the secondary site.I'm looking for advice on how to accomplish this. We also have a Synology at the secondary site that we'd like to put copies of our primary backups on. The primary site VBR backs up both vCenters. We have a server at the primary site running VBR which has a Synology connected via iSCSI as the target of the backup repository and also a SAS-connected tape library for air-gapped backups. Both locations have vSphere, though the implementation at the primary site is much larger. We have two locations (primary and secondary) connected by a gigabit WAN. This is our current configuration for background.
